ADHD Australia is working closely with a number of ADHD parent and carer support groups around the country. To enable you to connect with a support group within your state or local area we have listed below a number of these groups' contact details.

Adult ADHD Melbourne
Adult ADHD Melbourne is a support group for adults with ADHD, their family and friends, and health professionals working in the area. Its purpose is to provide peer support, shared resources, information, and advocacy. They meet on the second Saturday of each month at Docklands Library, 107 Victoria Harbour Promenade, Docklands, from 2:00-4:00 pm.

This group provides online peer to peer community support for like minded people with ADHD including families and parents. It provides resources to help understand ADHD and to reduce the stigma in the wider Australian populations.

ADHD United provides online peer to peer community support and information resources for people with ADHD including, individuals, families, parents and carers. It also advocates for ADHDers in both the public and private sectors, as well as conducting information seminars to inform the community of what ADHD and its comorbidities are, their positives and negatives, and how they affect people both young and the not so young.

National

Parents for ADHD Advocacy Australia
This is an online national group which aims to increase public awareness and reduce stigma surrounding ADHD. It looks to ensure families are informed and empowered to help their children and seeks to increase the capacity of schools to manage ADHD.
